The Humane Society of Davie County is an all-volunteer non-profit organization
committed to the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals and the extension of humane education.
See the Donations page for information on ways to give to the organization. See below for Volunteer
activities.
We cannot function without the assistance of volunteers willing to commit some
of their time and energy and ideas and greenbacks to the cause of stray animals in our community. Please consider how you
can help. We need a variety of talents and personalities and skills to accomplish our goals.
The following are opportunities to lend a hand in the work that needs to be
done:
* Adoption Center volunteers to feed, socialize, and exercise the animals
* Adoption fair drivers and representatives
* Fundraising event planning and management
* Board of Directors
* Solicitation of sponsors & donors
* Letter writing
* Grant writing
